Booking Conditions We understand that your plans can change. We value your custom so please let us now well in advance if you have to change your booking.
All dogs must be on a collar and lead upon arrival Pet carriers must be taken home, or if left, at owner's risk In the event of owners returning before the end of the booking the full period will be charged If you find you are unable to keep to the arranged time then please arrange a new time No discount is given if owners bring in their own food.
Policy of Care Please check your dog for fleas, worms and ear mites and where possible treat before coming to the kennel. If your pet has an existing medical condition it is crucial that we know about it in advance. Any medication that is required should be supplied with clear instructions on administration. Please ensure there is sufficient to cover the boarding period.
When your pet stays with us we take every precaution to ensure its health, safety and happiness. Should he become unwell we will take immediate action, either by taking your pet to our Contracted vet or by phoning your own vet for advice on the action to take. Brackendell Boarding Kennels will ask you to pay any veterinary costs incurred
Payment Terms
We charge for day in and day out. Your cat/dog's kennel will be available for your use from 7:30 am on your arrival day until 7:00 pm on your day of departure. Any animal not collected by 7:00 pm will be subject to a charge of one extra day's boarding.
Payment may be made by Cash or Eftpos Cash not Credit. Eftpos will be available from 1st of April 2008. From this date no cheques will be taken.
We reserve the right to revise our prices when necessary. All prices quoted will be at the rate prevailing at time of booking. All prices charged will be at the rate prevailing at the time of boarding.
Insurance
This insurance will not cover pre-existing conditions. Any vets' fees incurred for treatment of pre-existing conditions must be settled at the time of collection.
Abandoned Animals
In the event of an animal not being collected or boarding fees not being paid, the proprietor may dispose of the animal concerned after giving 14 days notice to the owner, or his representative at their last known address.
Belongings
Everthing your cat or dog requires for his/her stay at Brackendell is provided. We suggest that you bring an old blanket, or anything with the familiar smell of home, to help them settle in. We have a plentiful supply of toys, but you are welcome to bring a few of your pet's own toys if you wish.
Peak Periods
Our peak periods are school half-term, Easter, November,December,January & February. During our peak periods we do not give credits for early returns. A non-refundable deposit of $30 must be made for Christmas/New Year's bookings.
Bank Holidays
The office is closed for all bank holidays; therefore animals cannot arrive or depart on those days. Animals must be delivered & collected during our opening hours.
